The City of Watertown announces Prairie Lakes Ice Area Grand Opening on September 12
WATERTOWN, SD- August 12, 2024 -The City of Watertown is delighted to invite the community to celebrate the grand opening of Prairie Lakes Ice Arena on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a ribbon-cutting and program starting at 4:30 pm.
While the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena has been serving the community since its doors opened earlier this year, the grand opening celebration promises an exciting new way to experience the facility. Even if you're already familiar with the Arena, there will be unique opportunities to explore the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena and discover all it has to offer.
Learn more about the Shamrocks, Watertown's new NAHL team, the Figure Skating Club, Curling Club, and the Watertown Lakers. Meet Shamrock players and sign-up for a chance to win a team-autographed Shamrocks jersey or a giveaway sponsored by the City of Watertown and Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. Explore the state-of-the-art facility with a self-guided tour and enjoy open skate, refreshments, and other fun activities.
