Santaland, a beloved holiday tradition that creates lasting holiday memories for families, is making an exciting move to a larger location; from 2,200 square feet in the Commerce Center to 5,900 square feet at the Watertown Mall! This year holiday enthusiasts will find Santaland on the West end of the Watertown Mall in the former Maurices location. This expanded space will allow for an even more magical experience, with new features and larger-than-life displays, but we need your help to make this vision come to life.
Santaland is not just about getting a quick photo with Santa Claus; it’s an immersive experience that will stay with families for years to come. We are asking for sponsors to partner with us to ensure this event remains free to the public and continues to be a cherished part of the Watertown holiday season. Last year over 8,000 people attended Santaland in its downtown location. With the move to a larger, well-traveled location, we anticipate closer to 12,000 people to visit Santaland in 2024.
Santaland 2024 Schedule:
Santaland will be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 – 7:00pm, and Saturdays from 10:00am – 4:00pm, starting on November 29 through December 21, 2024. We will celebrate the relocation with a ribbon cutting at 4:00pm on Friday, November 29.
With the added expenses of relocating, a larger space, and improving Santaland, we cannot do it alone. Your generous partnership will help us bring holiday magic to life for thousands of families, ensuring this event is one they will remember for years to come.

Sponsor a night at Santaland! Your business will be front and center as you host attendees for the evening, with opportunities to set up a sponsor booth, provide special gifts, or involve your staff in the festivities. Dates will be offered on a first-come, first-reserved basis. Sponsors at this level will receive:
Visibility within the community by hosting an evening at Santaland – set up a booth and hand out swag, do holiday related activities, or just be present as hosts
Recognition on social media with special attention to selected host date
A digital ad on screens within Santaland

In addition to sponsorship, we are seeking passionate community members to join the Santaland Committee. If you love the holiday season and want to be part of bringing joy to families in our community, we would love to have you on board! Committee members will help with planning, organizing, and executing this magical event. Your input and creativity will be invaluable as we make this the best Santaland yet.
Volunteer at Santaland!
To make this event the best it can be, we need volunteers! Costumed and non-costumed volunteers are needed to make Santaland run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for business exposure and student volunteer hours. If you or a group are interested in volunteering, please reach out to the Chamber for more details.
