WATERTOWN, SD - SEPTEMBER 16, 2024- The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a very special event to educate and inform voters on the upcoming ballot measure questions. Attorney General Marty Jackley will be visiting Watertown on Tuesday, October 1st, at the Watertown Event Center Heritage Theater.

At 6:00pm, Attorney General Jackley will present the ballot questions as they will appear in the 2024 General Election this November. This is an excellent opportunity to get educated and informed about the questions that will be decided in the upcoming election.

Following Attorney General Jackley's presentation, the event will feature a Candidate Forum starting at 7:00 PM. All of the candidates listed on the ballot have been invited to attend. The candidate forum will begin with the Codington County Commissioner candidates, Tyler McElhany and Rita Wishard, followed by the District 5 Senate candidates, Glen Vilhauer and Dennis Solberg. The evening will conclude with District 5 House candidates Matt Roby and Josephine Garcia.
